How to use this site

Chances are, if you came to this site, you had a question.
The (#1) easiest thing to do is to go to the “search” box on the right-hand side and type in a keyword: condo, mortgage, etc., and then hit the “search” button.
If you want to search for two words, please use quotes — for example, “closing costs.”
The (#2) thing you can try is to hit one of the “category” buttons on the right: for example, when you hit “for sellers,” you come up with a whole bunch of questions that sellers before you have typicallly had.
If that still doesn’t work, you can (#3) ask me a question — as of early 2007, please email me rather than submitting through the site, because I get an awful lot of spam.
I am a licensed real estate agent, and you can reach me at my office: ali @ dgneary.com
If you are (#4) not looking for an agent, please indicate that in your email, so I won’t start the sales pitch on you. I’ll still answer your question. You might also want to try the boards at wired ny, which I’ve often found very helpful.
If you are (#5) looking for an agent, hi! I specialize in downtown — Chelsea, the Village, Tribeca — and somewhat sophisticated clients (actors, writers, lawyers, save-the-world nonprofit types) but I can work anywhere and with anyone. I am also deeply committed, as is my firm, to equal opportunity housing.
Hope you enjoy the site!
